no claims/contact after purchase
Fortunately I did not need to file a claim. The policy offered more than adequate coverage for a fair price.

We didn't need to contact the insurer during the trip, and no claim was filed.
My experience with Customer Service was good as they were courteous and answered all questions that I had. However, since there is no intent to file a claim it is not possible to rate the most important part of the need to insure. I will say that during the trip I felt comfortable about being insured although there was a feeling of uncertainty as to whether I crossed all the "Ts" and dotted all the "Is" in case I ever needed the insurance. I have generally found most insurance companies to be great until there is a need to file a claim.
It's a policy issue but we thought we were covered to $100/day, no matter what. I didn't spend that amount but the hassle and stress of not having my bag for 24+ hrs was, I figured , worth $100/day.
Trip dates changed, policy was changed with no problem.
I sent a claim in on 11/13/15. I am waiting to hear from you. Ernest Hiegl
