Staff I spoke to both when cancelling and when rescheduling were super helpful and efficient. Glad I didn't need to interact for a claim, but would expect the same level of service.

The documents and descriptions of coverages were also straightforward and simple to read. I used customer service once to ask a question, and the answer was provided quickly and succinctly. Our trip was great and we did not have to file any claims, but having the coverage provided significant peace of mind.

I paid $1000 for the policy and I was only asking for 1700 in return because that is how much of my trip was nonrefundable at that point. I had only paid the deposit. That is after the 80% maximum that you will refund. It took months to get resolved just asking for one piece of information or one question after a week, then asking for another one, etc. So it did get resolved eventually and I’m happy with the outcome. But it really seemed to take forever and it would’ve been really easy to miss some of the emails .

The trip I was supposed to take was cancelled due to the travel company going bankrupt. I filed a claim with Tin Leg and they returned the entire amount of the trip in a timely manner. They were easy to work with, pleasant and professional.
