I really did enjoy the way the carrier allowed me to search and compare the different policies. That was the initial key to my satisfaction.
Fortunately, I didn't need to use any facit of my trip insurance, but I felt confident it was there if I needed it. That piece of mind helped me to enjoy my trip.
The trip was changed from nepal,tibet to india and the agent was very helpful

An MH Ross customer service agent made it very easy for me to add additional coverage after I purchased my airline tickets.
I filed a claim last week for delayed luggage. I then followed up with required documentation via fax, and I haven't heard anything. I would like to speak to someone in regards to my claim and get it resolved.

I took out a policy which included the costs for my hotel nights totaling 6. Four of my reservations were a problem for me, which I considered a Trip Interruption. My 4 nights stay at Island Beachcomber on St. Thomas for the 2 nights before and 2 night after my sailing with Island Windjammers were originally placed thru a website claiming to be taking reservations for the hotel I planned to stay at. When I got to their hotel on St. Thomas, they didn't have any notice of my reservations for any of the 4 nights. I was able to stay with them because it was considered low season and they had rooms available, but I had to pay for them as new reservations. I contacted my VISA card holder regarding the problem and investigations have been started, which will take up to 45 days. In the mean time I'm out the cost of the 4 nights which I purchased in August of 2015 and for which I included in my insurance policy with Squaremouth. I contacted Customer Service at Squaremouth shortly after I returned home to let them know what had happened. They said my booked loss was not covered by my policy. I find that absurd since it was clearly a Trip Interruption issue. I'm waiting until I hear back from VISA regarding my charges before pursuing any actions against Squaremouth. If I need to take action I do plan to contact the NYS Attorney General's Office to also file the complaint with them unless Squaremouth comes up with a more equitable solution.
MH Ross quickly and expediently answered my questions about which drivers were covered on the rental car policy we elected. We were very satisfied with all elements of this coverage and purchase.
My only direct contact with the company was to increase my coverage limits after I purchased air transportation. They were quick and efficient in processing my request.
One MH Ross Rep tried to be helpful in advising me on how best to have my claim resolved. However, his information turned out to be inaccurate. He told me that he had made an error and apologized - that was at least honest. However, claim is still in process. So, until it is resolved, not sure how to comment.
Good experience but website needs to be more user-friendly.
