Your customer service representative was courteous and efficient during my phone call. Explained my benefits and told me all that i needed to file my claim. Also I was sent an email with the necessary instructions and claim forms. My claim will be in the mail shortly.
Due to a serious illness, we had to cancel our trip one month before the trip. We filed our claim on August 6th. We received our refund for the hotel within 2 weeks. We are still waiting for the refund for airfare. We filled out a bunch of forms, provided all the information requested. We received confirmation of paperwork on Aug. 6th and told that review would take 15 business days and if we heard nothing during that time, our refund would follow shortly. Two days ago we received an email asking for another form to be filled out and once that was received, we would be back under review for another 15 business days. We could not open the encrypted form and had to call and get them to resend it as unencrypted. I asked about the 15 business day delay and the representative told me it may not be that long but they are backed up.
We are experienced worldwide travelers and this was our first experience with travelers insurance. It may be our last.
I bought travel insurance from Nationwide via Squaremouth, my policy # NWE1803026311B for China Travel. The agency that organize my trip , Sinorama Hollidays Inc. , went on out of business. My policy cover financial default but Natiowide Insurance denied my claim, I already paid over $4,000.00 for this trip
The Closure Advisory states that “Consumers may file a claim for the original land and arrangements paid for and not provided due to the failure of Sinorama Holidays Inc (accommodation, bus tour, speed train, cruise and air travel in destination and any optional tours purchased) from the Travel Industry Compensation Fund.”. It also states that you can download a Consumer Claim Form by clicking a link in the advisory or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and that there is a 6-month filing deadline for claims.

Got coverage for a reasonable amount of money that provided some peace of mind. Being able to call and speak to someone who seemed knowledgeable was helpful.
The representative was helpful with questions that I had before purchasing a policy, and purchasing a policy was easy.
Very professional when I called with questions. No hidden small print exclusions. We did not have a claim but felt we were properly covered for our big family reunion trip.
First time I have ever had to use trip insurance .. all has gone well .. understand delays .. all is good
