I began feeling ill on a Friday.....I was to leave for Miami and then Cuba the following Tuesday. I saw my doctor on Monday and she advised me not to travel. I called my travel company and then at some point filled out the claim info for RoamRight. I don't remember the timing of all of that as I was not well. A week or so later, I emailed my claim rep to do a follow up. I was advised that the claim had been approved and a check was in the mail. RoamRight was very professional and timely in their response. I will definitely recommend them to all friends and family.
My interaction is not complete with Roam Right yet. To date my experience with Roam Right has been good. They quickly responded to my email and also sent an email letting me know they had received my claim. Once the claim process is completed I will be able to give a better and more complete review.
Thus far, interactions with RoamRight have been entirely online. I have submitted all paperwork and am waiting for a determination of the claim. I am a bit surprised that I haven't been contacted by a live person, but I have received periodic e-mails from costumer service so I am being patient.
I found the price for the insurance reasonable for what I wanted to cover in case of emergency during my India trip.
Squaremouth and RoamRight representatives were very helpful answering my questions. I found comments from other travelers very helpful toward my decision to buy this travel insurance. I'm glad that I didn't need to use the insurance, BUT, I felt more prepared having it for the just in case situation!
I will be buying the same type of insurance from your organization for another upcoming trip later this year.
When I called to check on the status of the reimbursement, the lady just asked me a couple of questions and then said that she was going to get a check sent that next day. It came very fast. Great customer service!!!

I'm having a difficult time getting a check reissued, I've been trying for approximately 2 1/2 weeks, they always say they will when I call but it never gets done, please advise on what I can do.....
I found that calling RoamRight was easy and incurred a very short wait time. The first time I called, I got a quick and definitive answer as to whether we would be covered by cancellation due to illness. The second time, I was asking some questions about filling out the claim form, and I got those answers clearly and definitively. In both cases, the people answering were friendly and informative. I have not yet heard an official resolution of my claim, but assuming all goes well, I will definitely use RoamRight again.

My mom became very ill and had to be hospitalized twice, and I am her primary support person. There was no waiting a long time on the phones. I got clear answers to my questions as to whether or not I was covered under this situation. I made my claim, and was reimbursed for the amount I expected. For this reason, I will always use RoamRight for insuring future travel.
So far we have used RR several times Our experience has been good. Cancelled flight help and insurance payments for overnights and Neal's and alternative transport all went smoothly..

It seemed to take a little while, but I was VERY satisfied with the way my claim was handled (it might help to tell people from the start that it will take 3 weeks before they're likely to hear back) .... but I was very impressed with the swift response from SquareMouth and especially with the Zero Complaints guarantee. Roam Right honored its policy, and for that I am really grateful.
Purchased the travel insurance online, did not need to file a claim but I feel travel insurance is a smart buy because one never knows if they will need it or not. I recommend RoamRight.
