With the weather and cancelled flights of winter 2014, travel insurance was inexpensive peace of mind. I didn't make a claim, but the performance of the insurer and the comments from those who had made claims, convinced me that my premium was well-spent.
I can only provide relevant feedback for my insurance provider before the trip, since I did not need to contact them during my trip, nor did I make a claim. The process of buying a policy was quick and straightforward, unlike some competing companies. I was going to Cuba, which required some extra considerations, and my insurer handled them well.
Didn't end up using the insurance just happy we had it just incase. So much cheaper then paying for the insurance w the cruise. My wife and I would've had to pay over $for insurance

Our connecting flight from Denver to Honolulu was cancelled on June 19, 2016. I called RoamRight on the same day and informed the Agent of our predicament. She was very accommodating and sent us the link on where to file the necessary claim forms. It was the highlight of an otherwise dreary day!
I like the ease of buying the policy online. Questions were answered promptly. I Lao like having access and being able to print the policy anytime I need.
We actually thought we would be filing a claim because we were guaranteed by Royal Caribbean that we would be able to make a 11:40 flight return flight home but we were not able to get off ship and make that flight. We got to airport as our flight was departing. We were very upset about that because we had obligations and needed to get home that day. We were very surprised that southwest was able to get us on a flight 4 hours later all 10 of us. We figured we would have to stay over. I don't assume that we have any reason to file a claim because the airlines did not charge us any thing. So other than a couple of extra meals we were not out extra money.
