    I was sent a check for $200 which was very much appreciated since I had to pay for a room and a rental car to get home.

    The only reason I did not rate 5 was during the claim process I felt that RoamRight should have sent me email updates about where they were in the process.

    Roam Right was responsive and efficient in the claims process. They settled our claim very quickly and to our satisfaction. I was very impressed with them. I will use them again.

    Squaremouth is just the best way for a consumer to find and purchase travel insurance. Each policy is a little different and Squaremouth allows you to easily compare the policies and choose the travel insurance that bet fits your needs for that particular trip. Depending on where we are traveling sometimes it is the trip interruption that is the more important coverage and some times it medical , lost baggage, etc.

    Able to submit claim online. Claim for expenses for being stuck in Los Angeles when people thought someone was shooting at LAX. Filed as soon as I got home. In one week, received my check for amount requested.

    Their phone app and customer service have been very helpful in clarifying benefits and providing information thus far. We had hoped to not need them but our trip was delayed by United, who also broke our luggage, and we have been unable to obtain reimbursement from United or Chase Sapphire (which also supposedly has insurance included on these things). Unlike the literal hours we have spent talking to United and Chase, Roam Right has been quick 5 minute phone checks on questions and easy online forms!!! We will know more when everything is said and done - the documentation process is onerous, but Roam Right (backed by Arch Insurance) is right to ensure United denies coverage first since they caused the mess!!

    If you own or are a controlling shareholder in a business and want coverage for cancellation due to Work Related Reasons, then one of the RoamRight policies may be the way to go (at least for NY State residents). Many carriers will not pay off if a business owner buys Cancel for Work Related Reasons. Read the fine print.
