Your service did not tell me that I need to provide the airline's document that the flight was cancelled until I contacted a few weeks later to find out about this.
We had the wrong return date on our insurance and I called Tin Leg and everything was was changed very quickly.
We were unsure of our best option since we wanted travel health insurance but not insurance against having to cancel our holiday. So we called the phone number and spoke to a representative who was very helpful and got us a quote straight away for exactly what we wanted.
My husband had a severe itching problem which surfaced a few days after we boarded our cruise in Buenos Aires. He visited the medical center twice. We submitted a claim for the doctor's visit and medication, one of which was merely an otc treatment. Tin Leg did a short phone interview, then sent us an email so we could amend the claim and include scanned receipts., which were all submitted by email. We got the check a few days later. The claim was for a fairly small amount, so I don't know how they would handle a major claim, but I was very satisfied with their performance in this instance.
Our claim was settled in a reasonable time frame.
