I had no issues and no reason to contact the insurer, (thank goodness!). Travel insurance is for peace of mind! I had some critical connections I needed to make, so it was a good purchase.
I did not have a need to put a claim or any use of the insurance. So that is a good thing. The only experience was the actual purchasing transaction on line and that was simple and easy as expected.

I asked TravelSafe to explain the policy. Three people who answered my questions said that other participants on my trip would be Traveling Companions as they met the provisions of the policy.
When I filed my claim, five different Trip Mate employees (Linda Finkle, Fran Mboma, Melody Welther, Lorraine Molzhon, M. Anderson) who administered the claim, fraudulently denied my claim.
When I asked Brandi Morse of Squaremouth to intervene using the Zero Complaint Guarantee, she informed me that the TravelSafe employee(s) with whom she communicated was/were siding with the Trip Mate employees and not their colleagues who had answered my questions about interpreting the policy. Those employees and Brandi were accepting the fraudulent reasons given by Trip Mate’s employees. For the TravelSafe employees to provide one interpretation before a person buys insurance and then provide a contrary one after the purchase, would violate North Carolina Unfair Claims Statutes and Regulations.
It’s difficult for me to understand why Brandi Morse accepts this behavior.
