    My family tested passive for covid 2 days before the trip. I called the company countless times and was never able to speak. I made a complaint through the internet and I've been waiting for them to get in touch with me, it's already been 2 weeks.

    I called with questions regarding selecting the best policy and options for my travel needs. The young woman was very helpful and knowledgeable and guided me to a personalized choice. It was a good interaction and I traveled more comfortably knowing my Squaremouth policy had me covered.

    I called in distress on Dec 26, they sent me to a phone number that mentioned that they were closed. Left a message.
    A rude lady called me at 7am 2days later and said she was from a company i never heard of (coordinated benefits) without any of the information I left in my the voicemail, asking me for personal information.
    When I said i don’t know them I only know trawick and squaremouth she didn’t have anything else to propose. I have been leaving messages since and no one is getting back to me…

    I am waiting to hear back on the small claim I made. If I read the policy right, I was entitled to get up to $400 in reimbursement if my luggage was delayed. I had bought the policy to cover potential Covid issues, but submitted a claim for $24 for a pair of shorts that doubled as a bathing suit, since when my luggage was delayed by over 24 hours (and all I had were the jeans I flew down in from Chicago to Cancun). Hope to hear soon on the claim, but the process to purchase and the response from customer service was very helpful

    I was disappointed to find that non of the international numbers Squaremouth has listed actually work when trying to dial in from outside of the US. I had an extremely difficult and frustrating time trying to get a hold of Trawick and Squaremouth while traveling outside of the US. I was forced to call a family member in the US and have them 3rd party call Trawick and Squaremouth while I was sick with Covid. It was a miserable and unnecessarily complicated process.

    This has been on of the worst experiences from the beginning. The initial call was taken by a rude representative who spoke to me rude and condescending. The claim process leaves much to be desired. After nearly a month after my claim I received a message for more information that was already included in the initial claim. When I try to call week after week for n update I am on hold in excess of 2 hours or the calls just ends and I have to call back. When I send an email I get this initial respond and then after 3 days of waiting for a response this is how my email is answered.

    ‘Thank you for contacting our office.

    We are currently experiencing an extremely high volume of claims. Claims are reviewed in order of receipt. To avoid delays, please review your claim documents to ensure all required documents have been submitted. If additional information is required in order to complete our review, we will contact you by email (or by mail if you chose not to receive electronic communications).

    I also tried to check the claim online and constantly receive a message that my claim cannot be found.

    I submitted my claim by priority mail over two weeks ago now and have not heard back. This is unacceptable.

    I wanted trip insurance due to the cost of our vacation and the elements of 3 family groups. With Covid, I needed that back up plan if the trip did not happen.

    The whole claim process has been ridiculous and quite frankly, feels fraudulent. I have not even been able to submit an email for the past two weeks because of something down on your system. Response from customer service is essentially nonexistent. When I do speak with someone, the conversation is filled with excuses about how overworked and understaffed your company is.
