    I requested a hard copy of my travel insurance policy because my printer was not working. I wanted to bring a copy with me during my travel. I was told it will be sent by mail but to date I have not received it. It seemed easy for M.H Ross customer service to ignore a simple request from a client.
    Although there is also a positive side. The first agent I spoke to, took time to explain details about the policy. She was very nice.

    I did not get a hard copy of my insurance coverage, just a downloaded PDF, so while quick and easy, sometimes PDF copies are not sufficient in emerging countries.

    I took out a policy which included the costs for my hotel nights totaling 6. Four of my reservations were a problem for me, which I considered a Trip Interruption. My 4 nights stay at Island Beachcomber on St. Thomas for the 2 nights before and 2 night after my sailing with Island Windjammers were originally placed thru a website claiming to be taking reservations for the hotel I planned to stay at. When I got to their hotel on St. Thomas, they didn't have any notice of my reservations for any of the 4 nights. I was able to stay with them because it was considered low season and they had rooms available, but I had to pay for them as new reservations. I contacted my VISA card holder regarding the problem and investigations have been started, which will take up to 45 days. In the mean time I'm out the cost of the 4 nights which I purchased in August of 2015 and for which I included in my insurance policy with Squaremouth. I contacted Customer Service at Squaremouth shortly after I returned home to let them know what had happened. They said my booked loss was not covered by my policy. I find that absurd since it was clearly a Trip Interruption issue. I'm waiting until I hear back from VISA regarding my charges before pursuing any actions against Squaremouth. If I need to take action I do plan to contact the NYS Attorney General's Office to also file the complaint with them unless Squaremouth comes up with a more equitable solution.

    I was refunded the cost of my medical expenses in full. After the claim was recieved it took less then 60 days. That is reasonable time for me.

    Very easy and clear to compare and select a policy..and affordable. All questions and explanations clearly answered on terms and coverages online. Policy issuance fast with plenty of opportunities to talk to live people if needed. I had a high comfort level in carriers.and Squaremouth. No claims made.

    I would have liked to receive an actual copy of my policy in the mail, especially since I purchased it months ahead of time. I'm glad I didn't need to use it since all I had was an email confirmation of purchase.

    I had a few questions regarding the documentation, Squaremouth had the contact information for the agency large and bold so it was easy to find, saving me a lot of time! When I called the agency they were more than accommodating and shared a bunch of additional information with me.
