Extremely unhappy, claim is in dispute. I would never use them or you ever again. I paid for canel any time insurance for the entire span. The "bad word" insurance comapmy is denies claim becuase girl friend got pregnant. They refused claiming it was pre existing condition on Feb 1st and I paid for insurance meid march. SHE wasnt pregnant feb 1st and they know that.\r\n\r\nUnhappy to the max
I had two interactions with Squaremouth prior to our trip and neither went well. 1) When I asked for Beneficiary designation forms, the person wasn't sure what it was and wondered why I would need one. C'mon! Does it get any more basic!? And you don't know what it is!? Scary. (Eventually, I did get to Aidan there and he was quite helpful.) 2) I asked about which medical shots were necessary. The person there simply read from a script. They had no idea what it really meant and couldn't offer any interpretive value to me. I was thankful I didn't have to call Squaremouth about anything else.
We never went on the trip due to the death of a family member.
We still have not yet received monies from our claim. The insurance company required extra paperwork, much of which we had already sent. Still waiting for a reply or check from the last info we sent.
Still processing. I am having trouble accessing forms online
We decided to leave a day earlier because of the danger that we would miss the ship if there was a weather related delay. I called the company to change the start date to one day earlier. They refused even though I wasn't making any claim due to the cost of the ticket change. I only wanted the coverage in case my luggage was lost.
Fell and shattered wrist and left forearm 1/2 way through the trip. I had to be medevac out to Nairobi. Then on-call international arrange flights for me and my brother to go home. I had to have surgery last week on July 24. My claim is currently in process for reimbursement on trip interruption.
My claim is still in progress. The claim process is less efficient than I think it should be. The easiest way to make it go faster would be for the company to email documents rather than sending them in the mail.
did not need a claim but glad to have the policy.
I think I was wisely guided to Global Alert by a very capable rep from Squaremouth at the beginning. When I couldn't print my policy I asked it to be sent. It arrived when I got home, which didn't impress me. I still believe Global Alert is a fine policy. The person online who works for them is lax in his job representation.
