Multiple wildfires are raging throughout California, burning more than 100,000 acres of land and evacuating hundreds of thousands of people from the affected regions.

Amid the wildfires, Pacific Gas & Electric has planned power outages in hopes that shutting off power during windy, dry weather will prevent sparking more wildfires. More than 1 million people have been affected by the power outages.
