I’m in France, can I return home early because of the attack in Nice?

Last Updated:

If the attack in Nice, France meets your policy’s definition of terrorism, and you have Terrorism coverage under the Trip Interruption benefit of your policy, you may be covered to return home early.

You must have had a policy in place before July 14 to be eligible for this coverage.

Additional requirements must be met in order to be covered to end your trip due to the attack, including that the attack must have occurred in or near a city listed on your itinerary, within 7-30 days of your departure date.

Trip Interruption coverage provides reimbursement for unused, prepaid travel arrangements, as well the cost of transportation to return home early.

This information is time sensitive and may vary by policy. If you have questions about a specific policy, please contact us directly at 800-240-0369. Our customer service representatives are available 24/7 and are delighted to help.
